the beautiful pain

Woke up with no soreness! What a treat! Jeremy had some serious work set out for us though, I doubt I'm gonna experience another no-soreness morning tomorrow...

WOD
4x 400 meter sprint, 2 minute rest interval
"half time" tabata pushups: 8 rounds, 20 seconds work/10 seconds rest
4x 400 meter sprint, 2 minute rest interval

sprints: 1:14 PR!, 1:22, 1:28, 1:36
tabata pushups: 15-9-8-8-7-7-7-8 = score of 7
sprints: 1:34, 1:40, 1:32, 1:28

The first sprint felt great! Set a new PR! The second sprint - and every succeeding one - became a mental challenge as my legs felt like they were filled with lead. Maui wowee that was the toughest workout I've done at SICFIT Austin in awhile.
